What about a new edition ?

Michel MOULY and Marie-Bernadette PAUTET intend to produce a new fully revised edition of the "The GSM System for Mobile communications".
The existing version, which is very similar (except for minor corrections)
to the one first published in December 1992, was mostly based on the GSM Phase I standard.
The new edition will cover the evolution of GSM since Phase I (Phase II, Phase II+, ...)

Other publications are under preparation :
First, an abridged version of "The GSM System for Mobile communications"
encompassing only the following items :
- Context and cellular concepts
- Services
- Architecture
- Glossary and Specifications Reference
Second, an A to Z of GSM giving definitions on all terms specific or relevant to GSM.
This site will be updated as soon as some of these books are available.
